    Xbox PC gamepass games requiring administrator to launch


    Whenever i download a game from gamepass on my PC it installs perfectly, no issues, no lag. however, when I go to play the game i just installed (or any previously installed games) it doesnt visually do anything for a few minutes then crashes with error code 0x800705b4. And no, the game was not already previously running, this is every time unless i run it as administrator. i would perfer to rid myself of the error overall but at the very least i want a way to prompt admin every time I open a xbox gamepass app. (image wouldn't load, sorry)

    Hi There,

    Xbox gold is for console users only, not required for PC. You will need game pass ultimate or gamepass pc to play gamepass games on PC.

    you get that error because gaming services is not installed or updated, gaming services can only install and launch on standard pc architecture and not arm based devices.

    the xbox app requires gaming services to be installed to be able to download most xbox app games (gamepass games).

    Some of the games on PC are availble on gamepass on Xbox however not all of them such as Age of empires as it requires a mouse and keyboard. Also gamepass for PC is a separate subscription to Gampeass, you would either have to buy another gamepass subscription
    or get Gamepass Ultimate which works both on PC and Xbox
