Xbox PC Game Pass, Age of Wonders: Planetfall does not work

I have the Xbox PC Game Pass and installed AoW: Planetfall. When I try to launch the game a loader screen comes up and says: General Error. Something went wrong while saving the list of enabled content. Please try again. {"messageId":"game.dlcLoad.save.defaultError"}.
I went to the Paradox forums and reported this bug already but I wanted to also report to Microsoft/Xbox game pass that Planetfall isn't working for me and for a number of others as well who have this same problem. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Still no solutions. The problem is only with windows store and game pass versions, steam version works fine.

PLanetfall always crashes when I try to launch the game after it finished loading the game, srsly annoying...

seems to be a problem with microsoft store only

I have exact same problem, ive tried all the usual fixes before even finding this post.

funniest thing is Stellaris runs fine and has exact same paradox launcher and much higher spec game. all other xbox beta games run fine

I think a programmer put a . or - in the wrong place for dlc check. Ive made the mistake myself in the past

Does anyone from Microsoft actually look at these forums? This problem was reported on the Paradox forums over 2 weeks ago and still no fix. I posted the report here almost 2 weeks ago and no help or replies either. Is there any actual support for the
Xbox game pass? From the replies here and on the Paradox forum there are a lot of people with this problem but no answers. Very disappointing.
