Xbox PC Beta Save File Vanished

Have you tried signing out your account on the Xbox app and restarting your computer?

Sign back in to see if the save retain. If the issue persists, you would need to report to WB Games for support.

Cloud Saves seem to be hit and miss within the Xbox beta app, When I was playing Gears 5 it was failing several times to grab my save from the cloud. I just had to keep clicking try again.

I have tried both those solutions. As well as redownloading the game, which is a whole 100gb install. None of it seemed to remedy my problem. It clearly says "Syncing with Xbox Live" but my saves are gone.

It seems that the product page claiming to have cloud saves is a lie and that this service is only good from the outside in. For $1 I guess I haven't lost much, other than half of the month due to this error. But at full price and half-baked features, which
include not being able to backup your own saves, since the files are all locked. I recommend this service to no one.

WB Games have nothing to do with this. It's the false information on the Xbox PC App. Unlike the console, where one can select where the files are stored and downloaded from, this app is not as feature robust and thus just not a good experience.

Keep in mind that my PC is set to the only account, and also set for offline mode. So technically all my saves should be kept on the computer as well. This is just very frustrating, I had planned on continuing my service but I guess I'll come back when
Microsoft can actually backup what they write on the game pages.

Maybe since that is a Microsoft published game, the option is there to re-try. Within Shadow of War, their is no option to retry (like there is on an Xbox Console). Perhaps you can guide me to how I can reach that menu, I'd love to retry.

I assume reinstalling, logging out, restarting all should've helped but it didn't.

Also a picture, in case anyone thinks I am making false claims. It is in fact Microsoft with the falsified claims.

common problem this seems to be happening to alot of people i was 62% thou the game and was only a few riddles away from finding riddler so annoying and it seems to be random cos i always switch off from the menu screen
