Xbox PC Beta- Cannot install games- Install location folder blank

Under settings, general, where you can select the default install location for games, it is blank.

If I try to install a game, when it asks where to install it, that is also blank. I cannot change the location or add a location.

I have Gears of War 4 installed on my C: drive.

I have changed the default install location for new content in the system/storage section of settings.

I have reset the Xbox Game pass beta app,

I have re-downloaded and reinstalled the gaming service.

I'm not sure what else I can do.

I am downloading a game from the microsoft store. It did not let me choose where, but for now I hope it will install the game. I will write back when it is done.

Do you have administrator rights on your computer when you launch Xbox Game Pass for PC ?

It seems like the app was possibly not uninstalled or deleted properly from your PC and now it freezes when trying to re-install. Do you see the app still in your Task manager? Click where it says more details and go through each tab
and locate the Xbox game pass beta app. Right click and then select Open file location, which should open the folder with any files you would still need to delete.

Open run window (Windowskey + R) - Type in: "%appdata%" - Delete the Xbox app (beta) for the PC Game Pass folder in the roaming folder (You should be in it already). Go back one folder, then you should end up in Appdata - Go to
"Local" - Delete the beta Xbox app folder in there too. You can also get to the local folder by typing %localappdata% in the run window. Once you delete the folders for the app that is having issues, try re-installing again from this website https://www.xbox.com/xbox-game-pass/pc-games.

I suppose my post was confusing. I know where the Installer is downloaded to. It shows up in the Downloads folder for me. But when I open that installer, it will install the Xbox Beta App onto my computer. Where is the Xbox Beta App located on my computer?
