Xbox PC Beta App tries to redownload game after each time I boot pc.

Thank you for creating a forum on this issue. The app is in beta version for PC currently so it might have some issues. I suggest logging out then back in. If that doesn't work try redownloading the app on your PC.

Do you mean redownload the xbox beta or the game?

How? One was playing brotato and the other Fortnite but kept booting each other out of their game whenever the other tried playing theirs.

Am I correct in saying that I just download this on the PC (https://www.xbox.com/en-US/apps/xbox-app-for-pc) then log in using email that’s linked to my Xbox gamepass? Or is there something I am missing and I can’t play 2 different games at the same time currently.

Sorry to hear it. After you've switched your primary address it can take a few days to fully populate your account which may be why you're having trouble.

Once you've done it please try deleting the Beta app then log out of the Xbox Console Companion app on your PC. Restart the PC and log in to your Xbox Companion App before redownloading the Beta app. Let me know if that works

Hi,

I wasnt aware you needed the xbox companion app to be running whilst playing. When I had the gamertag provided for me in the beginning the app wasnt running. I simply booted the game from steam.

However, I have now rebooted my pc several times and tried starting the companion app before booting the game. Didnt work. Tried restarting the app a couple of times. Hasnt worked yet.
