Xbox PC App Wont Sign In - Account Works Fine

Using Xbox Game Pass for PC and the product is great, but this app is making me lose my mind.

Pretty much every time i restarted my PC, the app would sign me out. The library would be empty and show all sign in buttons.

When i clicked them, the app just refreshes and does nothing. However when I go on Settings, it clearly shows my store account and subscription so it clearly knows who I am.

For the first few times, I got round this by resetting my passwords. Strangely it never asked me to enter the new password, it just automatically appeared. But after several resets it just won't do anything now.

I log into the Microsoft account fine. Googled and tried everything on this forum, websites and reddit. I can even play the games I downloaded before through the Start Menu, and it either doesnt ask for password or just lets me log in when it does.

Ive tried the top of the google search from Microsoft saying to (a) change password. (b) time and language (c) remove account. No luck.

Tried signing in as admin. Can sign in fine on the companion app and microsoft store. they all know what my account is. Ive tried uninstalling. Resetting and repairing the app. Tried the powershell thing even though I have no idea what that even means or does.

The only suggestion ive not been able to do is delete cache manaually? Ive seen something on reddit for C:/Users/AppData/Local/Packages etc but there is nothing there for the TokenBroker. I dont know if this is because I reset and repaired the app?

Thank you for the clarity. Disregard Step 5. I believe that the missing Gaming services are the cause of your issue. Since trying the steps above, are you able to see the version number in the "About" section of your "Settings" now? Can you provide us with a screenshot of the "About" section if possible?

Can you verify that your Xbox app and Gaming services are up to date? You can do that by following the steps below:

Open the Xbox App

Click your profile icon at the top right corner of the page
Select "Settings"
Select "About" on the left panel

The first set of numbers under "Version" will display the current version of your Xbox App.

Current versions:

Xbox App: 2112.1001.10.0

Gaming Services: 3.60.12001.0

Thank you for letting us know. You can try to install the Gaming Services through the Microsoft Store app by going to your library and searching for the Gaming Services app. If you're having trouble finding it there, you can try and follow the steps below:

Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Restart your device and try to install the game again.

Xbox app seems to be the correct version, but there is nothing there for Gaming Services?

Games havent been the problem? Sorry if I did not make that clear. When i first got Game Pass i was able to download a few games. They all work correctly from the Start Menu. Now I have completed them and want to download more, I cant, as the Game Pass App won't sign me in despite everythign I've tried. Its not about installing games.
