Xbox PC app windows 11 not letting me join partys

Just to double check, can you see if your windows system and apps are up to date?

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services and update everything too.

If everything looks good, try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for game bar app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset and test

**if you're not able to see the option to party chat inside game bar check if you can add it via game bar settings (Windows key + G > the little cog icon)

You can also check if Party chats work well on the Xbox app on PC (Windows 10/11) or on your phone.

Just to clarify you are talking about PC? If so are you on windows 10 or windows 11 and are you using the Xbox app or the Game Bar for parties?

Sorry let me clarify I'm on pc, I always use this same headset on xbox and mobile it works fine. I am UNABLE to join a party on pc it does not let me join or host and there is no error message. I am using Ethernet and when I said xbox beta I meant the
xbox gamepass beta app.

Rather use the new Xbox App on PC, the party chat is a lot more stable there. Even using the windows key + g and joining a party that way is better.
