    XBOX PC app will not launch or install games


    Hi All,

    My XBOX app on the PC will not load or install any games. This is extremely frustrating.

    I have tried the following:

    1. Clean install of windows 11.

    2. Resetting and repairing XBOX app and Gaming services.

    3. Deleting Gaming Services registry entries.

    4. Re-installing XBOX app and gaming services.

    5. Resetting Microsoft Store.

    None of these have worked, and I am very annoyed as it seems to be bad software.

    Would anyone from Microsoft like to comment?

    Install xbox app on your pc, launch the game using this program and everything work

    you get that error because gaming services is not installed or updated, gaming services can only install and launch on standard pc architecture and not arm based devices.

    the xbox app requires gaming services to be installed to be able to download most xbox app games (gamepass games).

    Once installed, verify that the game has been updated before launching as the current version is v1.17.41

    Some games that are supposed to show up on Game Pass PC don't exist in my Xbox App.

    I just tried installing Hollow Knight since it's PC only and it launched the Hollow Knight page on my Xbox App but while on the website it says "INSTALL TO included with Game Pass" in the app it says not available. Oh and also Back 4 Blood is nowhere to be found in my Xbox app.
