Xbox PC App shows "Play with game pass" instead of "Install"

Discus and support Xbox PC App shows "Play with game pass" instead of "Install" in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; Overly fustrated that I cannot download or install any games on the xbox app even the EA Play games.     Xbox PC App shows "Play with game pass" instead of "Install"


    Overly fustrated that I cannot download or install any games on the xbox app even the EA Play games.

    Have tried re-installing, updating, updating windows 10, relogging on the account that i purchased subscription on and everything else and no luck...... I am unable to download a single game through the xbox pc app only through the microsoft store...............

    Will Destiny 2 really leaves Game Pass tomorrow ? It didn't show up in in app leaving soon tab.

    Yes it will be leaving. It does show on the leaving soon section on the Xbox console and does show on the game pass app as well. The PC version of the game is not affected though. So if you have a PC capable of playing those types of games, then you can at least continue playing on that platform instead.

    Is it showing you the green "Play with game pass" button instead of the install / play button, or is it showing you a play button and not launching?

    Have you downloaded the new Xbox app (not the companion app)? You should be able to download them through their instead of through the Microsoft Store app. If you haven't installed it, you should be able to get it from here by clicking "Get Started" - https://www.xbox.com/xbox-game-pass/pc-games

    Hi,

    Ori and the Will of the Wisps is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. This means that it can be downloaded from the Windows 10 Store.

    Ori and the Blind Forest is not a Play Anywhere title. To download the PC version of this game from the PC Game Pass you need the PC Game Pass App installed.
