Xbox PC app getting stuck installing/cancelling any game

Hi Ricardo, I am the same person despite the name being ever so slightly different in terms of spacing (it wouldn't let me login)

I have tried that, and I did it for the Xbox app and the windows store app aswell.

I did leave my PC for some time, a couple hours since making this post with some games pending and I have noticed that some games now have actually downloaded.

Back 4 Blood is stuck saying "resuming"

Age of empires 4 says it is Queued, it does occasionally show download progress but if I pause another game to speed up the download for it then this game seems to stop showing any progress.

I think what I'm going to try is leaving several of these games I'm trying to get re-installed either downloading or stuck wherever they are overnight and see where they are at in the morning in about 10 hours time as they seem to be kinda working, but very very slowly.

Have you tried this steps before with the Xbox App and the Microsoft store app?

Step 1: Open the Settings app. This can be done by clicking its icon in the Start menu or simultaneously pressing Windows logo + I.

Step 2: Click the Apps category icon and then click Apps & features to see all installed apps as well as classic desktop programs.

Step 3: Click on the app that you want to reset to see the Advanced options link. Click on the same (advanced options link).

Step 4: Finally, click the small Reset button. When you click the Reset button, you will find a small dialog box with “This will permanently delete the app’s data on this device, including your preferences and sign-in details.” Click the Reset button in the opened dialog box to reset the app.

Step 5: Once the Reset is done, you will see a check sign next to the Reset button. And restart the Pc

***Of you have done this before try to install the games directly from the Microsoft Store app, of the problem persist reinstall the Xbox app after a power cycle of the pc

Sorry to hear it. As this is the beta app there are still issues to be fixed. If you are unable to download the game from the app then cancel it and open the Store App from the start menu and find the game there to install

When I canceled and used store app to download the game, I started and stuck at 24% again

I purchased game pass ultimate for PC, and the Xbox Beta app gives me the option to pre-load Gears 5 in preparation for the early release tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the game is stuck at 0% (Preparing) and never advances. I have cancelled and restarted the download, but it wont install at all after that. I click install, it asks for the desired install drive, and I click okay. Then the button goes from
"Preparing" back to "Install" instantly.

I'm very excited about this game but pretty irritated that Xbox Owners can pre-load, but the PC owners cannot. Please help.

In order to install this game or any game from the Microsoft Store App, you will need to ensure your Windows 10 device is on a 1903 OS build or greater (Current 1909). The easiest way to ensure your PC is ready to go for this game and any other game
that comes to Game Pass for PC is to install the Xbox (Beta) App with the steps posted here. This will force the PC to install
an OS version that can run all Game Pass for PC games and allow users to easily find them inside the Xbox (Beta) App.

Let us know if you have the most recent OS build for Windows and the Xbox (Beta) App and try installing the game from the app as well.
