Solution 2: Give Outriders Controlled Folder Access to fix Easy Anti-Cheat Error

1. press the Windows and I keys together.
   
2. lick on Update & Security.
   
3. click Windows Security.
   
4. Scroll down to Virus & Threat Protection and click on Manage settings
   
5. Scroll down to Exclusions
   
6. Click on Add or remove exclusions
   
7. Then select file type or folder
   

Solution 3: Try to run Outriders as an Admin

1. Locate the game via the Windows start menu
   
2. Click on the Start menu on the lower left corner of the screen and look for Outriders
   
3. Right-click and select more
   
4. Then select Run as Administrator
   

Solution 4: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files If some Windows functions aren't working or Windows crashes, use the System File Checker to scan Windows and restore your files.  Sometimes corrupted files can cause issues.

2. Then once you have access to system configuration, click on the Services Tab
   
3. Then click on Hide all Microsoft Services
   
4. Next you will see a list of third-party apps that you can click disable all and see if any of these apps were affecting the game
   

Solution 6: Create a local user or administrator account in Windows This is a good way to see if your profile is corrupted and if the game works on a different Windows profile. Also, check to make sure you are the admin on your account.

I just received that issue yesterday. Now, Outriders is giving me an error saying "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed." Every solution online has not worked, hopefully someone will know what to do.

Please uninstall the game and install it again, check for permission for easy anti cheat app also
