    I have recently installed the Xbox App on my PC but when i open the app it crashes shortly after opening.

    I am seeing the following entry in the Event Viewer.

    Xbox PC App crashes shortly after opening

    I managed to find that the issue here was because i'm using Windows 10 N which doesn't have any of the Media Features installed and this was causing the application to crash as it requires these features for the Game Bar Application integration.

    Once i installed the Media Feature Pack for Windows 10 1909 and restarted my computer i was able to use the Xbox app.

    Exact same problem here. After restarting a few times finally managed to get Skype to uninstall. Struggling to get it to reinstall from xbox store now though :(

    Did you try starting the Skype app in snapped mode as described in
    support.xbox.com/.../multitask-with-snap     ?

    Members of the Skype Community reported that using this workaround they were able to start Skype and also later on switch to full screen mode and the app continued to work.
