Xbox PC App(Beta) Since enrolling in preview my taskbar icon changed.

I m part of the preview program since the begining and my xbox is still mark as enrolled on the beta preview app.

I m also still receiving the update without any issue.

Registering the new nxoe doednt break anything as you havent installed the beta

If yiu dint have the preview app you dont need to do anything

If you installed the app and was enrolled then you need to wait for the enroll status change

Once rwmoved you factory reset and you dint need the app anymore

If you dont want in the beta why reinstall the preview app

Younvan only be in the nxoe preview

Unenrolling removes you from the program completely

Hi Guys I'm not to sure where to post this but Ill try here. I accidentally unenrolled myself from the beta preview and I cant seem to re enroll myself from the preview beta app on my dashboard... Any ideas on how I can re enroll?

To uninstall the app from your PC

"Start"

Settings (Gear Icon)

Apps

Click on the app

Click Uninstall.

I have had no problem with the original Xbox App.

When Game Pass for PC was released I was having trouble launching it.

I re-downloaded the app, I did not uninstall, let it run the first time and then "Pinned" the icon to my taskbar and I have not had any trouble since.

When opened it tonight there was an update.

At the moment the new Xbox Avatar Beta is available to those in Alpha - Skip Ahead, Alpha, and Beta. When you open the Xbox Insider Hub, it should show under announcements the ring your console is currently enrolled in, can you double check to make sure
its within one of those rings listed. If so, it should show under 'Insider content' with the option to enroll in the app beta.

If you need to change the ring you're currently enrolled in, please go into 'Insider content'>Xbox One Update Preview>Manage. You will be given access to the rings you are currently eligible for.

Let us know if it still not showing after checking your preview ring.
