XBOX PC app and xbox live stuttering and lag in games (even in main menu)

Gears 5 the game runs smothly (fps 90+), but takes a while to get to main menu (2-5min)

Dishonored 2 (yeah i know it has the fame of bad optimization) it´s ridiculous that i can´t get more than 20fps on the main menu, i can´t even change graphic options just of how bad it runs

PREY (which is better optimized as far as i know) same problem just 1 coincidence, it happens just after i sign in on xbox live (which is obligatory every time you open a game)

So i started to make tests, uninstalled and reinstalled the next games + the xbox app, reinstalled them on the ssd with the OS and on a different ssd and the problem remains, yes i updated the nvidia drivers and w10, the problem remains, so what games did
i use for this test?

Void bastards (this game i´ve played before without problems), Ape out and broforce, why is this relevant?, because even a mini-lap would run them smoothly, so why the stuttering?; just after i sign in to xbox live, not even playing offline or without internet
conection solves the problem, the game still needs you to sign in on xbox live

Note: this "lag", starts and it´s at its worst when i move my mouse cursor.

HELP

I have a nvidia 1060 6gb asus + i5-8400 + 8gb RAM DDR4 (maybe this is the problem??)

Hi there,

something that you might want to check too is the audio drivers.

I myself experience a lot of lag in most type of video (also in games) when my standard audio is set to a specific audio device. If I change that to a different audio device then all video playback is smooth again.

(I change it by clicking speaker icon in task bar in bottom right corner)

Since you mention your mouse, try to see what happens when using a different mouse if available or checking the drivers for that too.

Another thing to try is to disable game bar, there is a setting in windows for that, to see if that makes any difference.

Both drivers are up to date, change mouse and speakers, and none of them make a difference, i think the problem is xbox live

I tried ape out (on gog) and broforce (on twitch app) and i have no issues at all. Maybe a future update to the xbox app will fix it i dunno i dissabled game bar and dvr too, no changes :'c

I don´t know if i can say i "fix it", but it is not an issue anymore, the solution was playing just with a xbox controller, that´s it, whenever i use my mouse again the lag starts, now i can play prey, dishonored 2 and even outer worlds with no problems
