I recently bought the Xbox Game Pass and played a couple of games and it worked perfectly fine.

Today i discovered that i cannot play nor download games that require administrator rights -> 0x80073cfc.

Yes, I did some research and found people who have the exact same issue so I tried various solutions such as reinstalling, troubleshooting etc. with no results at all. So far it looks like the Game Pass was just a waste of money.

Any ideas what might cause this issue? Thanks in advance for your anwers.

Yes I did and as I said it worked perfectly fine until now. The games that I played yesterday don't work today and as far as I know I didn't make any changes.

The standard solution is to reset/reinstall the store app. This is the current solution for 0x80073cfc.

However I'd like you to try to terminate, repair and restore the Gaming Services App.

Can you try that for me?

Assuming you got Game Pass for PC (which is in beta) there could be a few hiccups because of that.

Have you checked to be sure your computer is up to date and meets all the requirements needed to play the games you want?
