Xbox Payment Past Due Help

Hello

I had logged on to my xbox one today to see that my game told me "this account is not allowed to play online" so i ran down to 7/11 and got a 3 month xbox live card. after i had bought the card i had noticed that my account had a 3 month xbox gold payment
on it that was past due from a credit card that i used from my brother. Microsoft would not allow me to remove the card that I no longer could use unless i called microsoft or used another card to pay off the balance. I cannot do either so i was wondering
if there was another way?

You will need to call phone support and speak to someone in order to resolve payment issues. Your account will stay suspended until you pay off the past due amount.

Sorry, but no. Since they have been unable to charge the card, you now have a balance that has to be paid off before you can use a prepaid card. You would have to either add funds to your brother's card or add a different credit card.

When you sign up for gold directly from Xbox it turns on auto-renewal (it does tell you this before you confirm the payment). In order to not do that, you would need to turn off auto-renewal before your subscription renews. Since auto-renewal was left on,
they already started your new subscription and have already attempted to charge you for it. After a few times, if they can't charge you, your account will be suspended.

 

am i being charged for next month or the last months gold?

 

I'm not sure. It would depend on how your subscription was set up and when the new subscription was supposed to start.

 

So can i just use another card to pay this off, get rid of the old card, and cancel the subscription on the new card?

Yes. You would still have to contact support to cancel the subscription and remove the card, but once that's all taken care of you can use the prepaid card.

 

i do not have a phone that i can call with. is there any other way to take care of this without a cell phone?
