    Hi

    My 10 year old son has forgotten his password. I set my his Xbox up at Christmas using an email for which we no longer have access to. We cannot reset the password on the console because the code is send to a defunct email address which we do not have access
    to and I cannot reset it using my parent access (I have Microsoft 265 through work), I can only change permissions.

    Any ideas?

    This isn't psn where your password is a comma split spreadsheet with no encryption



    That would be q major security issue. As proven with the 2011 sony hack very painful for the company after us and Japan and EU fined sony because of how they failed at securing passwords

    Only phone support will be able to assist your friend as they will have complete access to his account. Unfortunately, if your friend doesn't have enough information to verify that the account is his, the person on the phone needs to know that the person
    calling is really the person who owns the account or else they won't be able to assist.
