    Xbox pass for pc not allowing downloads during gameplay.


    is there a way to enable downloads while playing another game. some of these games are large so ill play a small game but that cuts of the downloads, and some of these games are big and my internet is not the fastest.

    Hi Imbakingacake,

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

    Unfortunately I don't believe there is an option in the Microsoft Store or the Xbox (Beta) app that allows you to play another game while you have a game downloading in your queue.

    Other gaming clients, like Steam, have this option although it does negatively affect gameplay. Please use the built-in feedback tool within the Xbox app to present this idea to the developers. Just click on your profile photo and select “Feedback”
    from the dropdown menu to open Feedback Hub. Feedback Hub enables you to provide feedback about Windows and apps by sharing your suggestions or problems. You can also present this suggestion over at https://www.reddit.com/r/XboxInsiders/wiki/xboxrequests

    I see you are on PC but this XBox support page has information relevant to game downloads for any platform.
    Installing games support has a FAQ and one question states

    "

    Why does it take so long to install a game?

    Game installs depend on how fast a drive can transfer files. The maximum data transfer rate for the Xbox One disc drive is currently 54 Mbps. If you think your game is installing too slowly, see

    Troubleshoot slow game or app downloads on Xbox One    ."

    I find you are better off if you allow the device to allow completion of downloads exclusively, without running anything else, so resources are dedicated to a task and not overtaxed. The more background applications running the slower the download.

    Downloading games overnight is an option.

    Fm19 is available on pc via the game pass option and should work exactly like any other game to be able to download and play, as long as you are signed in to your ms account that has the game pass.

    Remember the ultimate game pass includes the pc option allowing you to play the games on pc.

    Some games are available on both pc and xbox and others only on the one platform
