    Xbox Party Static bug


    It's been nearly two months and I still can't talk in party chats, instead my mic just blares a static sound and doesn't pick-up anything I say.

    I can hear other people just fine but no one can here me, just static.

    Bought the newest Xbox brand microphone (returned it now) and the issue persists, at the very least if the issue could be addressed.

    nah pretty sure they don't care I have had the same issue for a long time, stupid staff are pathetic ngl.

    Me too! I've just downloaded XBOX app for Windows 10 Home and my friends complained about noise from me. They recorded it: Dropbox - WhatsApp_Ptt_2018-01-30_at_14_33_41.mp3

    I tried to reinstall drivers, put headphones+mic into audio jack (I'm using a HP Omen 15), without any progress.

    Even editing audio/mic settings on Windows or in the app doesn't work.

    Any help?

    Set the bsf to Do Nothing for best performance. I would also check the console audio settings to make sure everything is working properly. If you still hear static while in a party then it may be on the end of one of the people in the party

    Problem half solved. Apply and removing equilizer modes seemed to have worked to remove the static. I don't know why it didn't take the first times I tried that yesterday but it work.

    But I cannot seem to hear the game
