    ok so hopefully this is a new problem, can't seem to find one like it so far.. When I invite my friends to an Xbox live party chat, they get in and no one can hear each other... 10 seconds later they can invite me and all is well, no matter if we all reset
    our xboxs at the same time and start over, it doesn't matter.. We have all looked at our settings and have it set so we can communicate with everyone.. Party chat works fine so long as I don't start it, now what has inspired me to post is that I bought a 4shot
    headset and it didn't work, then returned it and got turtle beachs that also don't work( note that both worked for game sound, but neither work for chat)... The only headset that works for chat is the standard one that comes with the Xbox... I feel like my
    Xbox might be broken in some way

    Just a question. How it your voice volume in party chat compared to official headset you get with Xbox One. I have the stereo adapter and any earphones with Mic I use, I get told by people in party my volume is low.

    The UI/Dashboard DOES need some working on. But I was playing Minecraft with another friend and we could hear each other fine. I use the Kinect.

    Yep, simply play one of the backwards compatible games open the menu by pressing both the menu and start button simultaneously.
