Xbox party keeps dropping

I'm able to start a party, and to join a party. After 10-15 seconds I get removed from the party, and get no error or message.

I've unplugged the xbox and modem from power for 5 minutes, tried hardwired, 5G, and 2.4G. Nat type is open.

Any ideas what this could be?

have you tried clearing the system cache by going to your network setting alternate mac address and clear the mac address usually works for me if im having issues

Other option is to check your router setup and poform a port forwarding setup on you Xbox.

It could be someone in the party removing you but if the power cycle hasn't work try a factory reset on the console. There is an option to keep installed games and apps and your saves are safe on the Cloud.

Hi Yabadab,

Thanks for the update as to when it happens. Is your console connected directly into a wall outlet? If not this could be part of the issue. You can try to

uninstall and reinstall your profile to make sure there is nothing corrupt causing this issue also.

It also happens when I start a party and am the only person in there.
