    My party chat will not let me talk i have 3 controller 2 wired 1 wireless and 2 mics a older one and a brand new one it just stopped working one day i can not talk nor hear with ether of my mics but when i take my new head set and plug it into my wireless controller with a stereo adapter i can voice search on youtube and if i plug in the audio cord of my head set which has a audio and mic cord i can hear but when i plug them into the adapter cord i cant here or talk i have tryed everything i have seen to do online and nothing works

    FIX NEEDED. Game chat is not working in fortnite. xbox part chat works fine

    Join an Xbox party chat, go to options and switch to game chat. You can then leave the Xbox party and the fortnite party chat should work again

    If you are in an Xbox Party chat and everyone leaves you will remain in the Party Chat as the host, you will need to manually leave the party chat .

    what sometimes can fix it is if you start an xbox party then go on to fortnite and then go on to your friends list then tap Y to go on to audio settings and turn voice channel on to game or party chat not xbox party chat then click on xbox party chat game
    chat again and it should be fixed

    You may have been in game chat while you where in an Xbox Live Party. Check the features in your party settings to make sure you are in Xbox Live Party chat and not in game chat.

    (actually not "party chat", but there is a setting in Xbox for chatting with friends only)
