    I was wondering if anyone else agrees and would like to help get this request sent and recieved by xbox system update team that they should add suggested option with whats already added invite only and open. I am saying this because i am tired off other
    people adding random people who i dont know or dont like and then having to put up with more than 1 conversation at a time and kicking them pointless because they are re added and muting or blocking is hassle when trying to play a game i feel myself i should
    have a right to who joins my party so can xbox team if any of use see this post please add suggested in aswell.

    Party Chat Not Working

    Hey all,

    Just signed up as I got my xbox one today. Loving it so far.

    However has anyone figured Party chat yet? I can start a party and join the chat, but no one else in that party can.

    additionally if i join a party I'm unable to join the chat and get the message "Party chat cannot be started at this time"

    Any Ideas?

    its got me absolutely stumped

    Game chat happening in my party chat

    You may have been in game chat while you where in an Xbox Live Party. Check the features in your party settings to make sure you are in Xbox Live Party chat and not in game chat.

    FIX NEEDED. Game chat is not working in fortnite. xbox part chat works fine

    Join an Xbox party chat, go to options and switch to game chat. You can then leave the Xbox party and the fortnite party chat should work again

    If you are in an Xbox Party chat and everyone leaves you will remain in the Party Chat as the host, you will need to manually leave the party chat .

    hi,

    what sometimes can fix it is if you start an xbox party then go on to fortnite and then go on to your friends list then tap Y to go on to audio settings and turn voice channel on to game or party chat not xbox party chat then click on xbox party chat game
    chat again and it should be fixed
