    Xbox party chat not working


    Hi me and my 2 friends have a xbox party problem

    Xbox party keeps echoing and lagging voice out but game chat works fine

    I've joined a separate party with a different team of friends and party works fine for them.

    Any ideas?

    FIX NEEDED. Game chat is not working in fortnite. xbox part chat works fine

    Join an Xbox party chat, go to options and switch to game chat. You can then leave the Xbox party and the fortnite party chat should work again

    well im jealous to say the least, wish mine worked flawlessly - and party chat? my party chat hasnt worked since my xbox arrived, not even once - it says can't turn on party chat try again later

    Are you in a party chat? If so, in the Xbox party chat settings, there is a overlay toggle which can switch the overlay on or off.

    Outside of party chat, I am not entirely sure how it works with MWII (I assume that's what you are playing).

    One thing that worked for me was if you start an xbox party and then you join a fortnite party and go to the voice chat tab it should give you an option to switch to game chat. Also with the new season I can hear people party chats while in a xbox party
