    Xbox Party Chat Network Error


    Every time I try to join a party chat with other people, it says that a network issue blocks the party, and then disconnects me from it. When I click the Network error, it brings me to the network page in the settings. As far as I can tell, I have no networking
    issues. I have an internet connection, Xbox Live is up, my Teredo Address has been obtained too. I just want to know if there are other networking issues that can block party chat.

    Party Chat Issues

    If anyone is still having trouble this fixed it for me last night.

    Step 1 -

    · Make sure NAT Type is Open. If it is not, then follow the instructions here and return to this page once complete.

    Step 2 -

    · Go to Settings -> Network -> Advanced Settings

    · Make sure IP Address and DNS are set to Automatic

    · Alternate MAC Address set to Clear

    · Restart System

    Step 3 -

    · If the party chat doesn’t work yet, go to Power & startup

    · Set Power Mode to “Energy-saving”

    · Select Turn Off Xbox. (This is a full reboot).

    After this, Party Chat should be working.

    Roleplay Group Having Trouble With Adding Others To Chat

    Hello S'more,

    We understand that there is an issue with being able to add multiple users to a party chat or chat.

    Our suggestion here is to follow our Xbox App Networking Troubleshooter article, as most chat errors or rather not
    being able to connect in chat is caused by network errors.

    Can anyone year you when you join a party? Does chat work in games when you try to speak? If so make sure both of you do not have any NAT issues on the Xbox One. Also see the party chat issues link below.

    To view NAT go to your network screen. To get to the Network screen, press the Menu button on your controller, select Settings, and then select Network.

    The same thing is happening to me and I am really frustrated because I called Xbox support and they weren't helpful at all and I have tried all of the stuff above and it is not working, really frustrated with Xbox rn
