I understand that you are experiencing issues not being able speak and be heard on parties.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please adjust party chat output. To do this, navigate to Settings > General > Volume & Audio Output. Set "Party Chat Output" to "Headset and Speakers" to ensure audio is routed correctly.

And then update controller firmware by connecting your controller via USB and go to Settings > Devices & Connections > Accessories. Select your controller and check for firmware updates.

Next is to disable energy-saving mode. Please switch to "Instant-On" mode under Settings > General > Power Mode & Startup. This can help with connectivity issues.

Then test with a different headset to rule out hardware issues with your current one. If the other headset works, it means that the issue is with the current headset.

After that is to reinstall discord app. If the issue occurs specifically with Discord, kindly uninstall and reinstall the app on your Xbox.

Proceed with reseting your network settings. To do this, go to Settings > General > Network Settings > Advanced Settings.

Select "Alternate MAC Address" and choose "Clear." Restart your console afterward.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly check NAT type by going to Settings > General > Network Settings. Make sure that your NAT type is "Open." If it's "Moderate" or "Strict," it can cause communication issues. You need to configure port forwarding on your router for Xbox Live.

Here are the list of ports that needs to be forwarded:

TCP Ports: 53, 80, 3074

UDP Ports: 53, 88, 500, 3074, 3544, 4500

Restart device and your router once done opening the ports.

I'm having the exact same issue. I have the logitech G930s too. While using the xbox app for just party use you won't be able to hear others and they can't hear you. The headset works correctly with game sounds while streaming to xbox one back to PC but
still won't work in the parties. The issue is that the headset will just not work at all with any type of xbox party function... While streaming xbox one to PC or while just using the party system in the xbox application for windows 10. (Microphone and earphones
will not work in party chat as said... while the ability to create, leave, and join the party actually work.)

So on the xbox app I am able to create party chats but enable to speak or hear anyone. My microphone and speakers work fine on every other app except this one. When I make a party it says "We can't find your microphone". There is no option to choose my playback
and recording device (for some reason it's not a feature in the app). Anyone know a fix?

I use discord on my phone and pc but use party chat whilst on xbox.

Discord would be handy however mostly everyone i speak to on there has an xbox.

There is not an option to uninstall discord from the Xbox Series X. Discord does not show up as an app, as it is integrated directly into the party chat functionality. Are you suggesting that I unlink the discord account?
