    Xbox Party Chat Can't Hear Anyone But They Can Hear Me


    Couple months ago this started where party chat I can't hear anyone but they hear me, in-game chats like squads for Battlefield 5 work just fine just not party chat.

    Tried everything we could think from like resetting console, unplugging it and checking if my privacy settings where set to allow and everybody. Only game chat works so far.

    Can't hear anyone in party chat

    MidnightThudJustin,

    Select your Xbox button on your controller and scroll down all the way down to the right. Select
    Audio and make sure your mic is not muted here.

    If that does not work try going into settings

    select network settings

    select advanced settings

    select Alt Mac address

    Clear

    Restart

    Trouble Shoot Headset click the link for other trouble shooting

    Hi there!

    Let's see if we can clear that issue up with a soft
    factory reset    . On step 7 be sure to choose "Keep my games and apps" so you don't have to reinstall anything.

    Let us know how that goes!
