Xbox partner with Steam

Is this ever gonna be a thing? Since Discord declined their 10 billion dollar offer to buy them, Sony has since announced a partnership with them. Lets be real here. The series X is much faster then last gen. It also has great graphics too, but the dashboard remains the same which is fine. What I'm getting at here is there seem to be no real big changes. And I'm curious with what's to come? I'm sure many others are thinking the same thing. Microsoft needs to really step their game up.

steam would probably never partner with microsoft for console, as the console would not be able to run the games as microsoft won't allow .exe programs to run on the console.

and i am really glad microsoft didnt buy discord, if they did people would have abandoned it in droves due to the harsh woke agenda of microsoft.

sony partnering with discord is to just allow integration and have the app.

I agree with not wanting Microsoft to buy them, but i think it would be cool for them to partner with them so instead of just Xbox friends, i could party up with my buddies on PC as well.

It wouldn't matter as steam is NOT CONNECTEED to xbox or sony networks

No service will hand over customer private info to another unless agreed upon since steam is not an xbox partner then no it doesn't apply

Play anywhere requires access to the xbox network which steam does not have

Nor would any network hand that info over

Hi Sam! As previously mentioned, Microsoft doesn't sponsor streamers from other platforms than Mixer. Another factor is that they usually tend to partner with people who already have quite a following. Maybe after a long steaming grind on Mixer, you may
be able to get partnered.

I'm sure they'd want every game on their store, but that would depend on what kind of deal they could work out with Capcom. I doubt they'd partner with Steam.
