    Check the vents on the sides of the console for any dust, grime blocking the vents and clean them.

    I use a vacuum cleaner on vents after I disconnect the power cable from the console.

    Make sure the console is positioned in a well ventilated spot. Don't put it in a cabinet where air can't circulate around the console.

    I'm not positive what you are trying to say but you should not use a 125 volt cord on your Xbox if it says to use 100 volts. Using a 125 volt cord will cause your Xbox to overheat because it is giving the Xbox more power than it can handle at one time.
    You could fry the circuitry of your Xbox, rendering it useless.
