    Xbox Outriders "Easy Anti-Cheat not installed" Windows PC


    I can't open Outriders all of a sudden due to Easy Anti-Cheat not being installed. Apparently, this cannot be installed manually.

    I have tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling my game, that didn't work.

    I don't have access to the game's file location because I do not have access to the Windowsapps folder in any of my drives. I also cannot find the game's file location in general.

    This is frustrating. This issue came out of nowhere and I am worried all my progress will be lost.

    Hi, I really appreciate your help. Those folders are nowhere to be found. I assume they are located in my WindowsApps folder, which is located within the drive Outriders was installed on, but I "don't have permission" to access the folder.

    Thanks for your help. I fixed the problem finally. In case someone stumbles upon this forum with the same issue, all I did was:

    1. Manually download and install Easy Anti-Cheat here https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/guides/service/

    2. Create a new folder in ProgramFiles (x86) within the drive the game was installed on, called "EasyAntiCheat" and drop the .exe file in there
