Xbox Originals

I downloaded GTA San Andreas and Crash Bandicoot both onto my HDD Hard drive for the xbox 360 slim, i have tried formatting and clearing system cache and everything but every time i try to play an xbox original game it wont work, the hard drive isnt broken
because it works for other games and DLC, i just dont know what to do. HELP!

I bought San andreas cause I felt like playing it. But after I paid $15 and waited 4 hours. It said I neeeded a hard drive to play it! WTF I have the new 4GB by th way

 

i am ok with this as long as at E3 i dont hear the word TV

 

I'm hoping to hear a little more about this whether it be at E3, or later down the road, but like most of you here I want E3 to be about games.

 

Ahh they will never remake baldurs gate, would be some new interation that wont work or something lol

i to thought it was going to be about original xbox games, i will watch ote thats gaming news etc not to fussed bout tv shows dont have time for tv lol

 

dont worry guys. E3 will be about games. Phil spencer have said this soooo many times.

 

LOL I too immediately thought Original Xbox backwards compatibility. I love good TV, and it seems Xbox has picked up on the trend of short episodic series which are dominating the market currently.

I don't see people buying an expensive console outright just for exclusive TV, altough it could end up something special.

 

As hellfire said.. these Streaming only shows are getting huge and will be the a main part of watching TV show... look at House of Cards on Netflix.. gigantic success

 

Like others… I was hoping for Original XBOX games for Gold Members. Yeah tv shows…

 

What really adds insult to injury is that the Xbox UK Facebook page posted a picture of an original Xbox Controller before posting the "Xbox Originals" logo. I woke up, checked Facebook on my phone as usual, saw it which made me a little excited to play
some revamped older games and now I'm reading this... It's almost as if they knew what they were doing.

I have to say, the Atari ET documentary has caught my attention but I really have no interest in investing too much time to an Xbox TV channel as it were.

 

So the whole reason they stopped creating original video content for Xbox Live was because not enough people watched it and now they're trying again? My how times have changed...

We shall see if this takes off. I saw a news article about the whole ET thing and the excavation from the landfill. Other than that the line up seems pretty solid.
