Xbox originals downloads are corrupted

I have an Xbox 360 and I recently bought Star Wars Republic Commando and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 on Xbla which are xbox original games. They download fully but I cant play them as they appear as unknown games and the file manager says they
are corrupted. I tried clearing my cache and redownloading them repeatedly but they still wont work. I read somewhere that xbox originals will now only work with Xbox one (which I dont own). If this is true I would like to ask why they are still listed on
the xbox 360 xbla and can i get a refund please.

What country / region is your LIVE account registered in?

What country / region are you currently living in?

If you have a region missmatch this can cause you to get a corrupted download, if you are getting this corrupted download continuously, please delete the content that is corrupted, clear your cache, and try to download the content again. If it's being corrupted
again, please confirm that you have an original Xbox 360 hard drive as this is an original Xbox game and can only be played on an original hard drive. 3rd party hard drives purchased from places like eBay and Amazon marketplace do not have the emulation files
needed to play the original Xbox games on the Xbox 360.

 

Download keeps Stopping.

his original download was corrupted. delete it and re download it. should work this time

 

Uninstall the game. Go to the store and redownload it from there instead of the ready to download queue. Between the uninstall and reinstall try doing a power cycle of the console. Hopefully this helps fix your issue.

So it could be that your console need to be updated again as Star Wars Republic Commando totally is backwards compatible.

What I would suggest is installing the newest update to your console following the steps outlined in

this link.

Give them a shot (I would say that Solution 7 is the quickest and fastest) and let us know how that works in resolving your issue!
