XBOX original plays on XBOX ONE X

Thank you so much "Phil Spencer" for making sure "XBOX original games" will play on XBOX ONE X (the original XBOX had DVD tray/lazer issues & the console was pulled of the market to soon, making it rare to find a new one). The original XBOX had some of the
greatest video games of all time (I hope we see the entire XBOX original library & all of the games XBOXLIVE multi-player features & DLC available again). I myself would buy the original XBOX DLC if it was made available again (I also would like to play original
XBOX games on XBOXLIVE again as well). Thanks again Microsoft from ! P.S. all interest in Playstation is gone now!

XBOX live for every XBOX?

How much will it cost, to start xbox live on original xbox / start online services for f.e Conker and Star Wars Battlefront? They will bey available soon on XBOX One (S,X). How about: Putting Conker in an original XBOX and in a XBOX One X and play together
over the internet officially?

 

Question about Backward Compatibility on Xbox One One

Hi!

All Xbox accessories and original games on Xbox are compatible with
Xbox One X. Even games in the backward compatibility program work.

 

Thank Xbox for making this happen. I hope it comes soon.

 

I heard that XBOX original was comming out this fall as "THE X" releases (also they are adding new AVATARS).

 

I wonder if it's going to be like PS4 (lacking mostly good backwards comparability) that you have to re-purchase those games or like Xbox 360 games you could play off your old disks (I've got crimson skies high road to revenge from my first Xbox as that's
the first confirmed game demoed).

Also if the list will be limited like 360 games available and not available and slowly releasing them or a full instant restore (every game playable on release).

 

I think the the backwards compatable is a project they have started on & many games will work over time (I do not think they will make every XBOX original or XBOX 360 game work on XBOX ONE versions). I do hope we see at least 300 of the 800 plus original
XBOX games made backwards compatable (it is my opinion that the original XBOX games that never got converted to XBOX 360 should be a top priority because many of them wer the best games on that console). I heard there was emulation problems so they scraped
them (I want to see original XBOX games like AZURIK-RISE OF PERATHIA, NIGHTCASTER 1 & 2, SUDEKI, KUNG FIU CHAOS & all of the other Microsoft-XBOX 1st party games). We already have the XBOX 360 for a reliable machine to play 60% of XBOX original on). All STAR WARS &
DLC from original XBOX is a must for XBOX ONE X (but mostly it should be let us play stuff we could not play on XBOX 360! What you guys think?

 

you will be able to play Microsoft selected XBOX original DVD games or XBOX original Digital games that you bought on XBOX 360 or XBOX ONE (they would be the 1's Microsoft selects though). You would not have to buy them again like Sony-PLAYSTATION 4 requires).
I heard the Original XBOX games will play in higher resolution (if you remember the original XBOX had conponet cable & no HDMI cable so it was clear but not as much). Original XBOX games running on XBOX 360 through HDMI cable on a decent Flat Screen Tv looked
much clearer). I think your original XBOX games will look PC like & very clear (so it will seem like a new game all over again). PLAYSTATION ONE games are so bad they are barely playable anymore unless they were pre-rendered or side-scrolling games that looked
decent on there! I can see why Sony just said nobody was Playing backwards compatable on their consoles alot (they critisized XBOX ONE X's backwards compatable but XBOX original games always looked WAY BETTER than PLAYSTATION 2 versions did (I know cause I have
both XBOX original & PLAYSTATION 2 with the best cables you can get & XBOX original is significantly clearer with bump mapped textures ect.). What do you think about backwards compatable games?

 

Star Wars games are my highest concern.

Since with dice's battlefront 2 is coming out near the same time as this I wanted to play the old pandemic's battlefronts on console (Battlefront 2 playing on PC sucks as I always have to use a mic to play properly (some software glitch where no mic crashes
the game on a high end pc) and there's no legal digital copy for Battlefront 1).

For me those 2 games are on top of my wish list for backwards compatibility.
