    I want to install a new hard drive into the original Xbox 360, the white one . How do I install the operating system into the new hard drive?

    Trouble playing xbox original games on my 360

    I never said you can't install games onto the hard drive, you cannot install original Xbox games onto your hard drive. There is a difference between original Xbox games and Xbox 360 games. All Xbox 360 games that have discs can be installed to the hard drive
    (assuming you have space). Original Xbox games cannot.

    Xbox original Hard Drive install.

    If you're attaching an Xbox hard drive or using an external hard drive, there is nothing you have to install.

    If you're trying to attach an unauthorized hard drive, no one here will be able to assist you as that is a violation of the terms of service.

    Hi, is the game an original Xbox game or an Xbox 360 game? That message usually is for an original Xbox game. If it is an original Xbox game, then the hard drive you installed is not an official Xbox 360 hard drive, which you need to play those games.
