Xbox Original games keep freezing!

Hello,

Recently both my Xbox Original games keeps freezing after around 30-60 minutes of playtime, making me have to restart my console in order to get it working once more. I would naturally assume my Xbox disc reader is damaged, however, none of my Xbox 360 games
have froze whatsover.

I was playing Mercenaries and Call of Duty Finest Hour and within a short time, both of them froze which was really frustrating. Afterwards, I played Call of Duty 2 (Xbox 360 game) for around 4-5 hours and not once did it freeze, it ran perfectly fine.

So my question is does anybody have a suggestion or explanation for this? Is there an update I'm supposed to manually install to stop this from happening? It's so odd how my Xbox keeps freezing with Xbox Original games only. Both discs are in very good condition
with absolutely no damage to them. I also completed the Mercenaries campaign on the same 360 a few years back and I did not have this problem.

same too i cant do anything i cant even play downloaded content which kinda makes me mad because i got it 4 months agp...

It's more likely to be a emulation error. Some games are a bit buggy on the 360.

If it was a disc error you would probably get an error rather than a freeze.

Not much you can do. I doubt there is any support for Backward compatibility now.

For patch information you would have to contact the developers of the game. Do you have the game downloaded to your xbox? That eliminates alot of freezing issues with alot of games

I had this problem on city lost round 70% on that and Origins keeps freezing to but started playing it offline and that seems to really help

DISK PROBLEMS

-solution: but a dece kit to remove scratches and stuff.

-buy a soft case to keep the games in due to the design of the original casing

FREEZING PROBLEMS

- with the new Xbox if you use the old hard drive in the new Xbox, (you would have to crack the casing off) it will freeze your 360

- NEVER put your Xbox standing up vertical. only have it horizontal

the reason why the Xbox freezes so much is because when they first designed the 360 they had to many fans, their solution. cut fans down so the disk drive would work.
