    Xbox original game not working on 360


    I have a game that is an Xbox original, it has backwards compatibility (Silent Hill 2). The console I have now is a 360 and I successfully played it on there before but now, it's not working. I put the game in and it fails to launch, instead I get a black screen and it never loads. My software is up to date, there's nothing wrong with my console. What can I do to get the game to play again?

    I Can't Play Old Xbox Game(s)/Demo(s) As They Are No Longer Supported By The System.

    The 360 has totally different hardware to the original Xbox, for the 360 to play original software it has to emulate it. The emulator needs additional software to tell it how to play these games, no updates, no play. Game demos for the original Xbox have
    never worked on the Xbox 360.

    Fist connect to xbox live put a original xbox game in your 360 , download the emulator for free this will take just a few seconds this should work for you

    Yeah, not all original Xbox games work on the 360.If I was you, i'd find a cheap original xbox and play it on that. I know that may be more money, but it's worth it to play original Xbox games, especially when the 360 doesn't do so great with playing originals.
