    Xbox orange light


    My power bank is showing the orange light and I have been unpluging and plugging it back in for about 3 hours. When i hit the power button on my xbox it doesnt work or make a sound that it is turning on, the light doesnt turn white at all it has been orange
    since the first time i plugged it in.

    Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We need a little more information. Are you using an Xbox 360 or an original Xbox One? Which troubleshooting steps have you attempted thus far? If you are using an Xbox One, we have a support article that provides

    Overheating can cause the console to switch off. Not sure if you get an orange light. Sorry but I wouldn't want to deliberately overheat my console to prove or disprove my theory. I would suggest to not leave the console in direct sunlight, keep the console
    in a ventalated area, make sure nothing is obstructing the vents for air flow, keep away from heat sources like radiators etc... this might help correct the issue but I'm just guessing. I hope you find the answer your looking for.

    Since yellow light is atypical of a xbox 360 then we will troubleshoot for that

    Plug it directly into a wall socket not a power bar

    If it still fails you gotta replace it

    Unfortunately they dont make power bricks anymore your best bet is a pawn shop or a used game store
