Xbox or Windows 10?

Hello all,

How can I tell if I have pre-ordered a Windows 10 version of the game, or an Xbox version?

I cant don't see anywhere that confirms what I have actually bought (I don't own an XBox).

if it is an xbox playanywhere title, you will be able to play the game either on an xbox one or a pc

 

If you want to see if you got it on Windows 10 or Xbox you can check by going on your Microsoft Account and check the Payment and Billing, then select Order History.

How do I know if I have the playanywhere title? The order info (within Order History) doesn't say PC, XBox or anything similar, just the name of the game and the cost (and the fact it came with the Beta access bundle, 'Black Dog'). See attached screenshot

It seems having purchased the game, I need to access the MS Store from within Windows 10. Doing so gave me the option to install the game. Accessing the Store from my browser didn't give any such option.

I am assuming that, given that the MS Windows 10 Store has allowed me to install the game (even though its just a place maker install, the game has yet been released), proves that I bought the Windows 10 version and not the Xbox version.

i have the same problem! i dont want to buy it from internet and i found this site but with xbox version! all my local stores have this version only SEA OF THIEVES

Can i play with it on pc? or is it only for xbox?

 

To know if its a play anywheres title, you can look at the game details on the Microsoft store page, or look at the list here Xbox Play Anywhere | Xbox . This is
certainly a play anywhere title so you can play or install it on both! Keep in mind, play anywhere only applies to digital versions of the game and not disk versions. There will not be a disk version of this on pc as far as I can tell. That page you shared
is not in english, and translating doesn't specify if its digital or not. If its digital its for both platforms.
