Xbox opens to error 0x90010108 and won't allow me to do anything

Hey there!

I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Do you have an external hard drive connected to your console by any chance? If so, can you try disconnecting that and booting up your console then? If you don't have an external HDD and you're still running into that error,
you may want to consider performing a
factory reset of your console. If you can't get to your settings menu, you can work through the

offline system update troubleshooter and try that method.

having the same problem with my xbox one error code "0x90010108"

I've downloaded the game but it won't open at all for me-there isn't even an error message or anything, I hit open and it does nothing. Anyone know of any fixes or do I just have to wait until the servers are sorted?

I'm sorry to hear this issue is persisting. You may be able to perform the
Soft Factory Reset
keeping games and apps using the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. To see if this option is available on your console, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
4. Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
5. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

Next you'll choose to reset this Xbox -(while keeping games and apps)
IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

1. There is a stable network connection.
   
2. The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)
   
3.

Try performing the hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.
