Xbox only stays on for about 3 seconds

Just tried to turn my xbox on and it only stays on for about 3 seconds and it turns itself off. Power brick is solid orange before turning it on then it's white for those few seconds then back to orange. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Xbox turns on for 2 seconds then right off

My Xbox for the past two week now, has been turning on when I hit eject or touch the power button but only stays on for about 3 seconds and turns off. I love to play Xbox so can someone help?

 

Xbox shutting off

my Xbox shuts off all the time, stays on for about 3 seconds and then shuts off, power cord is on but doesn't stay on, always I have to press the button pretty hard to get a response from the xbox

 

unplug the power brick from the console and the outlet for 5 minutes and plug it back in and power back on to see if it resolves the issue

 

Try to plug your power cord directly on a wall outlet to sort out the power source and not share it with other electronics.

If that doesn't helps, you should opt for a power brick replacement:

The same hapen with me after upgrade The system in this month. Its appear frequently trouble in consoles xbox 360 and one, and cel phones Lumia too. I need a solution.

 

disconnect all wires for atleast 10 mins and the try again

 

Tried those suggestions didnt work. Gamestop guy said power brick was the issue, xbox support said issue with console

 

Have you tried replacing the power brick and seeing if the Gamestop guy was right? Let me know if the issue remains if you decide to replace the power brick.
