Xbox Online Status stuck offline

Hello

It seems to be a server side issue. Hopefully Xbox Support might update the service status soon.

This happened the other days and it was resolved pretty fast.

Exact same problem my mates and i are having. No luck so far

We understand many users have experienced this since the service alert. Try a
Hard
power cycle on the console. It should fix itself shortly if it hasn't already.

There was an outage of the Live service yesterday which was sorted out.

Have you tried doing a hard reset/power cycle on your console to see if it does anything.

Press and hold the xbox logo in front until it switches off. Waiting 30 seconds before switching back on.

I have tried all solutions similair to the one you spoke of. Including a power cycle i think it was called. Also none of them worked. I have looked all over and have seen the same solutions everywhere with none of them working. I also have 30% of my friends
having this issue. We can't invite each other, can't send messages, but can join an "online" person's party and still talk. Also it seems to only affect my xbox and not my pc. As i switched my pc account to xbox and it had the issue.

Edit: i also checked privacy settings. they're all good. And when i try to change my status it also shows up as online status unknown

Second Edit: Everything suddenly works for everyone. And it happened at the same time.

Third Edit: Never mind. It like "resets" over night for australia. Its happened again.

Did everything and it still doesn't work
