the xbox online service sucks i get signed out of xbox live way too much partys arent working properly and i have lost hours worth of gameplay from disconnecting from online games u cant save and come back to, nintendos service is better quality than this,
come on really? fix this online service i almost wish i went with a ps4 right now

I think the problem is with your connection since I've never had these problems. Also remember that there might be a temporary problem sometimes.

 

I also don't have any issues with the Xbox online service currently.

So it might be an issue on your end, and to properly identify the main issues, it would help if you could provide us with the following information:

How is your console connected to your home network, wirelessly or via ethernet cable?

What internet connection do you use? DSL, Cable, Cellular (e.g. 3G, 4G, LTE), or something else?

What internet provider do you use?

When you try to play, have a PC running as well, open a command prompt or terminal window (on Windows press "Windowskey + R" and type "cmd" then press OK, and on Linux or Mac open up a terminal window).

In that command prompt type:

ping 8.8.8.8 -t

(when you use a Mac or Linux, omit the "-t").

This will print a lot of rows with numbers.

Now, anytime you lose connection with Xbox Live, do these numbers change, or do you even get a completely different output?
