    Xbox Online Issue/ Xbox Series X


    Is anyone else having problems with going online on Xbox? I have an active game pass that won't expire for another few months but when I try to go online it's promoting me to buy another game pass. I tried another game and it says I don't have online privileges. Xbox support only ask you to troubleshoot but that still doesn't work. I want to know if it's an Xbox problem or it's just my account. Maybe the community here is more helpful since Xbox employees only know how to restart a console.

    Are you offline? Is the Series X your home Xbox?
    No my Xbox series x is online and on the same network as my Xbox one and my Xbox series x is set as my home Xbox

    Sorry, you've mentioned that you have purchased the Megalodon Shark Cash Card that is for Xbox Series X|S, but the one that is for Xbox Series X|S is "GTA Online: Megalodon Shark Cash Card (Xbox Series X|S)"

    As I have checked, for the Xbox Series X|S version you should see "GTA Online: Megalodon Shark Cash Card (Xbox Series X|S)".

    My friend has gta online on Xbox series X and I have the full game on Xbox one, but we can’t play online together… does he need to buy the full game?

    It's important to know which game your friend bought.

    I say this because there are currently three versions of the Series X/S game. Gta 5 Online, Gta 5 Series X/S and Grand Theft Auto V (Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S).

    If he has purchased Grand Theft Auto V (Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S), which gives access to the game for Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X, he can play online with you as long as he downloads the Xbox One version, so you and he will have the same save and can play online.

    If he is a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber he can download the game in the Xbox One version and play with you.
