XBox OneX not displaying 3d

The xbox is not 3D compatible.

Yes the Xbox one X does support 3d BluRay playback.

Have you checked video settings to see if allow 3d is checkmarked?

Hi and thank you so much for the quick reply. The issue is you have a BenQ ht2550 projector that has to be 3d enabled. When you do that, you lose 4k functionality (obviously). Now, you then have to go into Xbox x settings and check the box for 3d. But you
need to change the settings to 1080 p in order to do that (as far as I can tell). Once you do that you get the following error message: “This content cannot be displayed because your tv does not support HDCP 2.2.” In fact it does support HDCP 2.2 and that
is the HDMI port that my cables are plugged into.

My thought, do you need to plug into a different HDMI port that isn’t for 4k content? Is that the problem? I would think it would automatically detect the right content (like a Blu Ray is played as blu ray, a dvd is played in standard format, etc without
having to adjust the cables.

Or, you could list step by step how to enable 3d content on xbox. As far as I can tell, you cannot enable 3d content permanently as you lose 4k. You need to adjust everytime you want to view 3d. Is there a better solution then buying a blu ray player separately
and running it through the receiver?

when you have the chance,upgrade to OneX

even without 4K TV you will see the benefits in your games

sooner or later you will get a 4K display anyway
