    Xbox OneX keeps cycling back to factory reset


    I had the dreaded green screen on my OneX so I attempted a factory reset. On the preparing console phase it goes to 50% then resets back to the beginning, goes to 50% and repeats.

    I can get back to safe mode but if I press continue (to get back to the green screen) it goes right to the preparing console phase. I tried both options for factory reset, with keeping my data and without, and it does the exact same thing.

    Is my beloved OneX kaput?

    Some Problems with Xbox Live

    You might also try removing your account from the Xbox then signing back in. If a power cycle or account reset doesn't work you might try a factory reset "while keeping all games".
