Xbox ones telling me to re purchase a game installed on my xbox one!

How long do I have access to games within the Game Pass catalog?

Xbox Game Pass members enjoy unlimited access to over 100 great games within Xbox Game Pass catalog, until either the subscription is canceled/expires, or a game leaves the Game Pass catalog.

It's another reason why games in Game Pass are offered at a discount if you want to purchase them in order to own them if/when they leave the catalog.

You may want to check your purchase history to make sure that it hasnt been refunded also.

You can check your order history by going to account.microsoft.com

Are you sure you were not game sharing with someone that owned the game?

Did you buy it digitally or did you buy it with a disc?

I know at one point for a couple of months that FO4 was part of the game pass and they took it a way.

If you bought it with a disc you would have to have the disc in the console in order to play it this is how the system knows that you actually own the game instead of buying it digitally.

Thats correct. The game being a part of the game pass and you subscription to game pass is what gives you the license to play the games once the game leaves the game pass library or you cancel the game pass subscription you wont be able to play it.

Only the Games with Gold titles you will be able to keep as long as you have an acttive subscription for xbox one games. 360 games will not need an active subscription to be able to play it.

Oh that might be why..so even if you have game pass you cant play them after its deleted from the pass? Thats so stupid man.
