^ they have been constantly improving and innovating the One since it was released, or have you forgotten all the features that have been added since launch. This is one thing that's been put on hold, and you never know if enough people register concerns
through the proper channels it may be looked at again.

  2. ^ That is a pretty accurate statement as far as Microsofts support has been for the xb1, I wouldn't call the wambulance just yet.

Microsoft supports Windows 10 not Xbox or Xbox one, anymore.

Some "improvements" were downgrades.Innovations and Xbox one visions were killed after E3 2013.

"New higher fan requested gaming experiences on Xbox,Windows 10,XBL"

Just means more Xbox exclusives playable on PC....

Hum,i would like to know who are those "fans" and where are these "requests".

But who knows,by closing 1st party studios, cancelling games and bringing Xbox exclusives to PC,we might get a better gaming experience.....

And we all know that Microsoft is a small company and they can only work on one project after another, must be why they put on hold DVR feature.

I highly doubt this will ever see the light of day at this point. I suspect we never hear anything about it until it is forgotten. I am definitely NOT holding my breath concerning it.

  5. Since launch MS has shown they don't mind slapping a few gamers in the face every now and then.

There are reasons their console isn't number one in sales... and never will be for that matter.

Hey, at least we're getting Cortana! I imagine lots and lots of gamers wanted that. So... Yay! ...or not. Xbox One's Television DVR Feature On Hold! :p

@Genchy - What exactly has MS done with the One since launch that has been innovative? Yes, they've released some updates and made some improvements, but I must have missed these "innovations" you speak of.

Sony takes ages for updates to the ps4 though and people sometimes don't like the features being added, but it is good at playing games. Though it will be time to get a ps4 when the neo comes out @BUCMASTER.

@ Codecat, yea perhaps "innovative" was the wrong choice of word. But I'm not agreeing with the "flip flop" thang either. MS has supported and improved the One ever since it was released. I as just making the point that the console has progressed quite
nicely thanks to MS listening to the users (on the whole) Xbox One's Television DVR Feature On Hold! :)

@Genchy - Fair enough. I can't argue that they've made improvements, but I can't think of any innovation. If you can't agree with the Flip Flop statement though then I don't think you've been paying attention considering how many policies and features they've
done complete 180's on since before the console even launched. While it's good that they seem to be listening to consumers, they've shown they have no clue what consumers want or what direction they want to go with this console from the beginning.

  12. I am a cord cutter and I use the Xbox one as my media center. Very disappointed in Microsoft for not supporting what they have promised so long. Looks like I will dumping the Xbox and heading over to Nividia Shield or ROKU for Live TV and DVR.

This is beyond annoying. When this was announced happened to coincide when my home broadband/tv package was due to be renewed. On the basis that I would no longer need cable, as I could manage with Netflix/Prime and a Sky Now TV subscription. I cancelled
my Tivo subscription, paid for a new aerial to be installed on my house, and bought the OTA tuner. I would not have done any of that had it not been for the promise of DVR for Xbox. I am now out of pocket for no reason. Anyone want to buy a TV tuner?
