Xbox Ones S loses HDMI signal when starting PUBG

I started up my Xbox today and everything was working fine up until I tried playing PUBG and all of the audio including party chat cut out abruptly with my TV displaying the "No HDMI signal found" screen. A hard reboot later upgraded the issue to simply
not having any video output from the Xbox whatsoever while still being able to at least hear system noises and party chat. I did another hard reboot after that one and had no issues when I tested other games before attempting to play PUBG again. All that happens
when I do launch it is the splash screen appearing for the few seconds it normally appears for followed by the TV going straight to the "No HDMI signal found" message. As far as I know, this is the first time such an issue has come up since there does not
appear to be any similar cases documented online. Is anyone else on here having this issue as well?

Xbox One S loses HDMI signal every few minutes during gameplay

I have a KS8000 and a Xbox One S. Both were only purchased 2-3 months ago. Every few minutes, the Xbox One S loses HDMI signal. I have tried switching HDMI ports and using different HDMI cables and the effects are the same. Signal loss does not occur for
other systems I have used on the same HDMI ports, i.e. Apple TV, PS4, Wii U, etc.

Can anyone help diagnose the issue? Thanks.

 

3D Blu-ray movies no longer play in 3D mode

+1 from me. Xbox One (no S) works on the menu but signal is lost when starting the main feature.

 

Have you tried reinstalling PUBG?

 

I reinstalled it yesterday and the same issue is still happening.

 

have you tried changing to a different HDMI slot and your TV?

 

Yes. I even swapped out the HDMI cable for a different one and the issue persisted.

 

Check to make sure that the hdmi cable is plugged into the xbox the right way make sure it says "To TV" and not "Cable". and make sure you are on the right hdmi 1 2 or 3

 

Update: I reinstalled after the today's patch to test it out and it still cuts out after the splash screen.

 

Update 2: Finally Working Edition

Disabling HDR and 4K appear to fix the issue. I loaded up the game after doing so and finally got to the main menu, albeit with some weird stutter after the splash screen.
