Xbox One's missing functions

Who caught Sony off guard then? lol. That console doesn't even have notifications for when your friends come online yet, never mind all the other missing stuff and features that don't work or are super slow/freeze up. Those are the things that the silver
account 0 gamerscore trolls on here never mention, haha.

 

Relax...just angry that the functionality of the PS4, while being more powerful, can't do what the box does...they get pretty games by a minuscule amount, we get functionality,....

 

Instant resume gaming - nuff said.

 

You can listen to music from the Amazon Cloud Player in internet Explorer while it is snapped to the side of the screen.

If you are playing a digital game you can snap the audiocd player and listen to music while you are playing.

Sadly this does mean you have to give up a quarter of your screen.

Knowing where people are from because of the returned "location" feature? It makes it easier!? HA! That's so funny! I've seen profiles with "Middle of Nowhere," "Neverland," Wonderland," and No-man's Land," and "out of time and space," among many others
used in this so-called "location" feature that supposedly makes it easier to know where people are from. Oh, how about this - I've seen a profile from someone that says they're from New York, when they actually living in Ethiopia; that means they can lie!
Please tell me that's not a revelation for you, SSB...

 

Maybe they should rename the XBOne the Patience Box One ?

 

Thanks Vaynel. That actually helps me with one of the issues. As for those asking me why I want certain features back, is it not enough to know that I want them? Not all features are for everyone, but not every person games in exactly the same way.

 

I'm glad I made G laugh lol.

However the Xbox 360 dashboard does tell you which country others are from United States united kingdom Australia New Zealand. The dashboard gets that info from your account and what locale youve set the console to. You can also edit your bio.

I am still waiting for the update that will allow us to rip our CDs into the Xbox One's HDD and then play our music any time that we want to WITHOUT having to sacrifice any screen space just like the Xbox 360.

I miss the Xbox Guide. It made messaging and checking achievements etc. so much more comfortable than what it is now (my opinion). I don't get why they had to change it so that you just minimize the game and have to navigate the entire dashboard for these
things. You'd think Xbox Guide would be a simple thing to add...

 

I don't really want Xbox 1 to be an "all in one entertainment" thing. Phil noticed that M made some mistakes about Xbox 1, and wants it to be about "games games games". Numerous Xbox Live Features have returned since it launched 22/11/2013 and change dash
and bio's too will release for everyone in November when the update comes of for everyone next month. Which leaves only one critical thing remaining, voice messaging. I'm sure others would also like to play music in background too like on 360. While Xbox 1
and 360 are different in their ways, it's still Xbox.

Some peps would like to talk to it and for Xbox 1 to talk back. That would be a fun feature but it's still a machine - some peps got weird relationship with things ;D
