    Xbox ones have open nat and strong internet connection but I'm not able to connect to ...


    So here's the situation that I couldn't find anything on. I have two xboxs connected to the same router but to different wifis due to the router having a 5ghz and a 2.4ghz. So one Xbox is connected to 5ghz and the other the 2.4ghz. Now both Nats are open
    and have at least a 3 bar connection but I can't connect to parties and game servers are very laggy and sometimes I loss connection randomly. This happens on both xboxs Wether that are running at the same time or separately. Also this just happened like 4
    days ago randomly. I have Never had this problem before then, (one night it just started happening mid game). i recently got a new external hard drive a WD my book 3tb for my xbox but other then that nothing else has changed.

    Extra information:

    the router is a netgear ac1900 wireless cable data gateway a modem and router in one.

    I've tried resetting the router and Xbox but no success

    Are you sharing internet connection? Because this "both have open NAT types" sounds like you are sharing internet.

    Cannot connect to EA Access Hub X1

    My xbox one is having problems with EA. I have never been able to connect to Need For Speed Rivals. And now with the new EA Access Hub, I cannot connect to EA servers to even create an account.

    All my other X1 online activity and gaming is fine. I can play multiplayer Titanfall and all other games no problem. But the stupid EA thing is clearly an issue. The NAT is open and all internet connections are just fine.

    When I look up netgear ac1900 it shows as just a router, no modem....are you sure on the model # ? ...I'm on my phone though right now so could be wrong...

    Make sure your gateway has the latest firmware upgrade installed. Have you tried running it wired to see if the issue goes away? Do you have your router configured to use UPnP?

    I found it ...didn't know they made that one , I agree with Genesis above , try it wired , I think that's the only way to keep a good stable connection , ( I have 2 xbox ones and a netgear also ) UPNP is the ONLY chance you have with 2 xnoxes , port forwards
    and dmz wont help if 2 Xboxes are fighting over the same ports...also , there was another thread on here about the external hard drive causing interference with the wireless network ....

    I would make sure you're on a strong internet connection, preferably wired, and that you have an Open NAT as well as nothing blocking your Xbox 360 from full exposure to the Internet.

    Really? Now that's a first! If you have open NAT, you should be able to connect to anyone. If you have fast Internet speed, you also should connect. Perhaps it is the OTHER end then; the other players might not have an open NAT, fast Internet speed, or BOTH.

    Before you start a game or join each other in a party, does Modern Warfare say your NAT is open on both routers? You can find the NAT status on the main multi-player screen.

    Some routers have problems with maintaining an open NAT with two consoles connected. If one is console is reporting an open NAT and the other one is strict or moderate, you will have problems connecting to each other.
